December 2002, Speed Cuts International Pte Ltd is a new
chain of no-frills, premium lifestyle hair salon. Speed
opened its first Speed outlet at Orchard Shopping Centre,
located along Orchard Road in June 2003.
Speed
provides customers, from children to executives and professionals,
with quick and professional haircut services by experienced
stylist in a comfortable and hygienic environment. Speed's
trademark is its ten minute, $10 haircuts and hassle-free
queue card payment system. |

| At Speed, customers have their
hair trimmed in four easy steps: |

- Customers purchase a $10 queue ticket from a fully automated vending machine.
- Customers wait for their turn in a relax ambience in the bring yellow and parquet-flooring salon by either enjoying TV programs or browsing through magazines provided.
- Customers are serviced by experienced stylists in a clean and private cubicle.
- Loose hair is vacuumed by a unique air-wash system and swept off the floor into a sterile compartment under the seat when the haircut is complete to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for the next customer. A complimentary bottle of shampoo is offered to every customer after the haircut.
